This was the day JTS3 was ordained to be an Elder, (noun
the native elders: leader, senior figure, patriarch,father, a position of Authority) Hands were placed on his head, the melchezidek priesthood authority ordained on him by his paternal GrandFather, and his name sake, Joseph Thomas Sykes, Jr. It was a wonderful day and a milestone in his life. I know as his madre he will be an extraordinary missionary! I know there are many of you who echo those feelings. This blog is created for him to see the progress he makes while taking the message of 'good news' into the world for the next 2 years. Can't wait to hear where he will be sent!
